Patty Keegan brings unparalleled depth to MBA admissions coaching, with over 30 years of experience in MBA admissions, marketing, and student life. Patty served as Associate Dean for the Chicago Booth Executive MBA program, where she spearheaded an exciting global expansion initiative, launching Booth campuses in Europe and Asia. Her extensive international experience also includes recruiting and collaborating with elite business schools worldwide, significantly shaping the EMBA landscape.

In addition to her transformative role at Chicago Booth, Patty served on the Admissions Committee for Stanford GSB’s selective MSx program, further enhancing her insights into admissions processes at the highest levels.

A recognized leader in her field, Patty has been honored with the Executive MBA Council’s highest award and is a frequent speaker at EMBA Council, GMAC, and AACSB conferences. Her educational background includes an MS in Adult Education and a BA in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame, complemented by multiple executive education courses from Chicago Booth.

Patty is passionate about connecting deeply with candidates, using humor and genuine curiosity to uncover their unique stories. A native Chicagoan, she enjoys traveling the globe with her husband and sons – especially to Japan, where her youngest lives. Patty is also an enthusiastic patron of live theater, an avid reader of historical fiction, and enjoys writing short stories in her spare time.

Why are you passionate about coaching?

I am a natural connector and delight in helping others articulate their passions and reach their true potential. What’s your top piece of advice for admissions candidates?
